01 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website at energyhelpsupport.com (the "Website"), or by engaging Energy Help Support for services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Website and do not engage our Services.
02 Nature of Our Business
Energy Help Support is an independent energy advisory and consulting firm. The following points are fundamental to our relationship with you:
- We are not a utility, power supplier, or electricity reseller. We do not sell, generate, transmit, or deliver electricity.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of any utility, energy provider, or government agency.
- Our role is advisory. We review documents, compare options, and provide recommendations. Decisions about your account, contracts, and payments remain yours to make with your utility or provider.
- Nothing we provide constitutes legal, financial, tax, or engineering advice. For such advice, please consult a qualified professional in the relevant field.
03 Use of This Website
You may use the Website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to interfere with its normal operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, or use it to send unsolicited communications. Content on the Website is provided for general informational purposes. While we take care to keep it accurate, we make no representation that it is complete, error-free, or updated in real time.
04 Services & Engagements
Our initial consultation is free of charge. If we proceed to a paid engagement, the scope of work, deliverables, and fees will be confirmed with you in writing (email is sufficient) before any work begins. Work not explicitly included in the agreed scope is considered additional work and will be quoted separately before it is performed.
05 Fees & Payment
All fees are agreed in advance and in writing. We do not charge hidden fees, retainers, or performance-based premiums on third-party outcomes. Payment terms for any engagement will be set out in the written agreement for that engagement. Invoices are payable within 14 days of receipt unless otherwise stated.
06 Client Responsibilities
To give you sound advice, we rely on the information you provide. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information and documents (bills, account details, contracts) relevant to your request;
- Promptly notify us of any change in the facts we have been given; and
- Make the final decision about actions taken on your utility account, as those decisions legally rest with you as the account holder.
07 No Guarantee of Outcomes
Our recommendations are based on the information available at the time of review. We cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcome, including a particular bill adjustment, refund, plan approval, credit, or savings amount. Third parties — including utilities, suppliers, and governmental bodies — retain independent discretion over all decisions on your account.
08 Confidentiality
We treat the information you share with us — including personal data, billing statements, and account details — as confidential. We do not disclose it to third parties except as necessary to perform the services you request, to comply with law, or as described in our Privacy Policy.
09 Intellectual Property
The Website, including its text, design, graphics, logo, and layout, is owned by Energy Help Support or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish Website content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Your own documents remain your property at all times.
10 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Energy Help Support shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Website or the Services, or any failure of the Website or Services to perform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services shall not exceed the total fees you actually paid to us for the specific Services giving rise to the claim.
11 Termination
Either you or Energy Help Support may end an engagement at any time by giving written notice. Upon termination, you will be invoiced for work completed up to the termination date. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Nature of Our Business, Confidentiality, Intellectual Property, and Limitation of Liability) will survive.
12 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Box Elder County, Utah, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
13 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law or in how we operate. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly. Continued use of the Website or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
